Hi - I am also looking to buy annual passes in 2008 - arriving on 24 March for 3 days. how do i get the annual passes - can I get them in advance or do I have to wait till I get there? Also - what are the benefits of getting sponsorship? And are there any restrictions - can I use the annual passes on c0onsecutive days? if anyone would like to sponsor me and my family - please PM me!! thanks, debbiebeexxxx

Hey debbiebee,

many questions already answered in this thread :) Here's an excerpt (but keep in mind there can be changes with any new season, beginning in november and march each year).

You can order/buy either a day ticket (price will be deducted at payment of AP later) or a temporary annual passport
- in advance by phone, online or written order in a letter
- in Paris at the Disney Store or fnac Store or at RER vending machines
- of course at the Resort entrances (long queues on peak times!)

Being sponsored means 10% off for you (up to 3 APs) and prolonging of the sponsor's AP validity. All you have to do is to fill out a form the sponsor will be sending you and return it to her/him after you've been to DLRP.

You can use a Dream passport at ANY day; a Fantasy got special block-out days »(jours de restriction); a Francilien got even more block-outs listed »here AND can't be used on day 2 and 3 of its validity. IMHO the 'best buy' is a Fantasy Passport; if you'd like to benefit from some more freebies, one Dream AP per family/group might be nice.

For sponsoring I'll PM you. Don't hesitate to ask more questions, but check the forums, too, as many things are already said ;)

Hi Cubitus,

thank you so much for your quick reply:) Unfortunately I cannot reply to your PM as it says that I have an insufficient post count so.

there is myself, my husband and 2 children age 5 and 2. I understand that you can get a free annual pass for under 7's at the moment - but only until 30th sept. is there any way I could get one of these, just before the deadline, as this would still be valid in March when we plan to travel. Also, am I right in thinking that my 2 year old does not need a ticket? I did try to ring the annual passport office, but I do not speak any french and they did not speak english either so i didn't get very far :) Also - do you know if there are any discounts for the VEA transfer from the airport?

thanks again,
debbiebeexx

Oops, sorry, forgot to include my mail address...

I guess the only way to get the free under-7 passport is going there and buy it. I think this won't help you. There might be new offers coming up for march 2008 probably, but of course we can never be sure.

I wonder you reached the office, I usually just get the machine telling me to write them *lol*. There are english speaking cast members of course; you could try later again or request a callback probably. French request for this: "Voulez vous me rappeler si vouz avez quelq'un parlez l'anglais, s'il vous plait" - and try to tell them your number of course ;)))

Easiest way might be e-mailing them: DLP.guest.communication@disney.com

There are no AP discounts for the VEA shuttles that I would know about. I just love the TGV or the RER/Metro. With a family of 4 you should consider private shuttles, there are several, try a forum search for "CDG shuttle" etc. and you should find something!

Cheers
Oliver

As there is a range of questions I've moved this from the sponsor thread.
By all means post there if you have a sponsor request :)

Regarding the post count limit this is an understandable board precaution to stop DISers getting spammed.

Please do not exchange email addresses in the sponsor thread as these should only be exchanged along with contact details by PM. Most posters find they have access to the PM facility fairly quickly ;)

You can only get this offer at FNAC in Paris, Disney Store at Champs Elysees, and at the gates of Disneyland (nor even at the Annual Passport Bureau)

But I cannot find this information on the official site anymore :confused3
