They are reporting that mid March is when Disney will attempt to bring all annual passholders on-line with the Magicband program. Annual passholders will be able to customize their bands online. The first step will be selecting the colors of your magic bands. Available colors are red, blue, yellow, green, gray, orange, and pink. You will also need to select what you wanted printed on the Magicband, 9 characters (letters, numbers, and spaces).

In the best news yet, annual passholders will be able to make fast pass reservations through the My Disney Experience website or mobile app ahead of their visits.

During testing, eligible testers who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel could hold a maximum of seven days worth of Disney Fast Pass+ entitlements during a 60-day rolling window.”

The bands should start being delivered the end of this month.

Interesting. We let our APs expire last November. I'll wait to see how this all plays out and consider getting APs again later this year or next year.

Can't wait to get my MagicBand! :hyper:

Since the parks continue to become more crowded at all times of the year, here's hoping the Magicband is as great as people are saying. I remain skeptical. ;)

Just checked my MDE account, and there is now an order for the Passholder MagicBands. As soon as you enter the mailing address and customize the bands, the button says 'Ship MagicBands Now'.

Thanks Erionm. Going to check now!

It opened up for us as well today. :cool1:

I just booked onsite yesterday because I didn't want to deal with kiosks in the parks. Now I just have to cancel our onsite reservation. Glad I kept my timeshare ressie as Wyndham Bonnet Creek is booked solid during our dates.

Thank you for this info. We just came back and had decorated our bands (loved FP+) DD and I had bought Christmas stickers to decorate our bands for this December and now we can decorate early. :goodvibes

Okay.....not finding anything specific about being able to actually place an order for a magicband. :confused3

You have to start with the address first. Once you get thru that it will list the members with APs and you can modify from there.

I have a feeling getting FP+ for popular attractions less than a week in advance is about to get a lot more difficult.

I don't see anything about ordering MBs. How do I even get there? When I went to the link to order them, it said I don't have any tickets linked to the account. When I put my ticket number in, it says,"already linked". Well, except for my son's AP... It has now vanished.

It also says I can't do FP+. But I do have ADRs. Hopefully it comes through soon. Leaving in 3 weeks.

So I just placed my order for my Magicbands. It states they will be shipped Mid March. We plan on arriving in Florida March 18th. We are not sure if we are staying at a disney resort or not. Anyone know if we can get the bands at Guest Relations or something if they don't come in time?

I just called Disney and got confirmation that MagicBands are rolling out for APs. But it is in stages. So those of you who already got them, you're lucky. The rest of us have to wait. She said all Annual Passholders should be eligible by next week.

This rollout is also causing glitches with MDE. It lost one of my Annual Passes, two ADRs, and a resort stay. I got confirmation that those are all still there. Some even came back while I was on the phone.

She also said that MB orders would likely come available on MDE for AP holders a couple of days BEFORE we get an email letting us know to order them. So if your trip is approaching, check MDE regularly to expedite the process.

Great News!

But it still has wording about shipping mid-March.

I saw this earlier (before the site went floopy).

Of course, our APs expired last month. So who knows if they'll actually ship. :)

I just got the option. This would be my 4th including my split stay in May. My brother checked and he said it's not up for him yet.

I just customized mine. Now I have one of each color except orange and I have two pinks (first pink band stained the color of my jacket when it got wet - I wanted a new pretty one). I hope that when I make my next reservation they will still send me a magic band so I can complete the MB rainbow.

So I'm curious, can you also pre-book FP+ now?

Yes, it was letting me book for FP+ as soon as today (or earlier today) and up to 60 days in advance. It was letting me book for my brother too since he's part of my Friends & Family list even though he wasn't given the option to customize his AP MB yet but he does have one from a previous trip. Not exactly sure what the limits are but I booked for one day, which I'm about to cancel.

Great! Thanks for the info. I guess I need to have my "ducks in a row" and be ready to book FP+ in the next few days.
