Annual Passholder Renewal Question

I was wondering if someone upgrades their annual pass at WDW to the premiere pass (including DLR) one year, but decides to return to just WDW the following year, are they eligible for renewal discounts with the downgrade?

At renewal time, guests can change to any level of AP and still get that chosen type of AP's renewal rate.

I have only had the one option with WDW unless I went to Platinum Plus. I wasn’t sure if it was a completely different thing with Premiere, but that is good to know.

Assuming they are a Florida resident or DVC, otherwise there are restrictions as to what is available. And changing your level of pass cannot be done online, you must call. At least I could not do it online.
