it could be a link only provided through the DPB
it could be a link provided only through email
Again, check everything you can and also this thread. It will light up like Christmas once the registration link is released

To further expand for those curious
The way it worked in the past for all these events, when you click the link it will take you to a special page that is not like any other you've seen before
It will show you only AP holders that are connected to your MDE account. For instance, I click the link and I can see me, and my DH, with checkboxes by our names
You can select who you want to go and then pick the time you want to attend (or it may happen in reverse, pick the time then who is going, I forget which you do first)
I don't know of a way to add anyone else or pick anyone even if they have a qualifing AP that isn't on your MDE account (this may be important to some)
Then you confirm your selection/reservation.

They'd be idiots not to come up with all sorts of packages (not unlike they did for SWW) to sell
And I can't see any harm in it if they do. It won't take away from the experience to those who opt not to buy extras, no more than it did during SWW and makes money, usually with very little cost to Disney. Makes the guests who can spend the money happy. Ends up being a win-win.

I am pretty sure that Pandora dropped on a Wednesday since we were on the Magical Express on our way to WL when I got the email from Disney.

I was thinking Wednesday as well. I’m at work right now, so I can’t go back through my emails to search (I’m an email hoarder. I get it from work lol)

oh absolutely, fully agree (as long as it is done before hours or after and not taking away form "base" hours that people with regular tickets would get to experience the land). If they have times though when DHS is open for regular but then the only way to get into GE is by paying extra then I think that is not a great scenario

Could I make a request/suggestion? Since this thread has blown up, could we create a new post solely for announcing when the link goes live? That way we can turn notifications on for that post and know when we get the notification that is what it's for.

Also, could some one tell me what I can do to receive notifications other than selecting to "watch" a thread? Are there settings somewhere that give you the option to have the notification to come via text, email, ect?

I'd do that ..
That seems like it would be too good of value at that price .. so maybe double it.

It seems their marketing strategy is to have these limited previews (reservations at DL, AP previews at WDW, extra magic hours) to get as many people early on to experience the land without it being wall to wall people, otherwise the land will get negative press when there are 4 hour waits for the one ride and 2+ hour waits just to build a lightsaber.

So they are limiting access .. let the POSITIVE word get out .. then drop the hammer on paid events so future guests can experience that same "limited" experience.. for a price. (I would gather that Star Wars Hotel will fit into that same category (as it should give you limited access to the land).

They probably will start limited events as "practice" for whatever they plan to do with guests at Star Wars hotel.

When you click watch on a thread it will ask you if you want an email alert. You’ll have to click unwatch and then click watch again to see the choices

There's a watch button on the top you can set to email.

I like the thought of another thread but this is the dis and it'd juat end up like this one because people are chatty and like to speculate, nothing wrong with that but it makes stuff like this hard. I'm getting a ton of emails.

100%. I can almost guarantee it will be released between 10-11 tomorrow since I will 100% not be able to be checking during that time.

Obviously locking it wouldn't be beneficial (even though reetz will most likely get the jump on it and could just unlock it.) But just in case someone else finds it first, I think just asking people to please not comment unless it is to send the live link, and delete any posts that does.
