Annual Passholder dedicated entrance during the Holiday Season

This is great news! And at the risk of being greedy and ungrateful, how about an express security screening lane? Kind of like TSA Pre-Check at the airports for frequent flyers? :)

My DH had the same idea and told DVC boss Ken Potrock at the condo association meeting last week. Ken thought it was a good idea - and then said they were working with Parks division to get DVC members their own admission line. So if the AP line is successful, maybe there will be a DVC line too in future. We can hope!

The main entrance folks at my primary park barely have enough staffing to cover their regular configuration most days. I can't figure out how they'll even make this work.

My hubby and I say this all the time! It's so annoying to be behind the person that has 2 or three giant bags with none of the zippers open!

This is nice. In theory is might actually help speed up the non-ap guests as well as you can dedicate a couple resources to a group that generally is familiar and quick at getting past security and through the turnstyle. leaving more room for just the non-ap to get the additional help they need at first.

I didn't take away there would be dedicated security. It's reading to me like 1 tapstyle will be for AP only.

This is great news but in our family of 3 i am the only AP holder. Will my family have to use the other tapstiles:confused3

Not to be nasty, but I hope only AP holders are allowed in these lines, no family members or "guests". That would defeat the whole purpose of these lines. If you're with people who aren't AP holders & don't want to separate from them, go thru the regular lines together.

So simple, but such an awesome little perk. Glad not to be behind a group of 10 who don't remember what finger they used:rolleyes2

I hate when the scanner doesn't work and they blame you for using the wrong finger. I'm not a rookie, and I have been doing this a while. I know which finger I used! Luckily, the scanners have been improving, and this hasn't happened in a while.

Actually even if family of ap holders did have to wait in a separate line, this is still good! I can run ahead and get to our place in line or our adr this way.

I don't doubt this happens sometimes (it happens to me!), but I've been stuck behind a huge family, all with no idea what finger they used or with the wrong cards(not so much anymore with magic bands, but still happens)

Agreed. I'm the only AP holder in my party for our upcoming trip and I expect to use the regular lines with the rest of my party, unless I head to the parks solo at some point.
