Annual passes - Any discounts?

Does anyone with these coupons know if they can be used for upgrades to AP's as well as standard AP purchases?

Another way to get a discount on an AP is to get on the Mousesavers email list, and use the undercovertourist links. We bought regular passes (the ones with the biggest possible savings), used them one day in the parks, then turned them in for AP's - essentially saving $32 per pass.

The trick is that in order to turn such a pass into an AP, you have to use it one day.

How do you do this? I am trying to understand it cause I am thinking about doing it. Did you buy a 7 or 10 day tickets? Do you pay the difference at the gate?? Or do you get money back?? I am so

It is true that the cards cannot be used for renewal but according to Cheshire Figment who is a ticketing cast member @ WDW, they CAN be used for upgrading park tickets to an annual pass because that is considered a new annual pass. There is another HUGE thread on this topic that was started by Cheshire Figment & her 1st post has all the nitty gritty details!

No sorry - they can only be used for the purchase of a new AP - no renewals or upgrades - and have to be redeemed in person at a WDW ticket window before July 31. Each coupon is good for the purchase of up to 6 APs.

Actually they can be used to upgrade regular park tickets. I purchased tickets with the 4/3 package and will use the 10% disocunt to upgrade to a NEW AP.

No, they can't be used to RENEW an AP.

OP, if you are in GA and have AAA you can get a discount on AP's. If I remember correctly it is about $30 off the adult AP price.

My 10 year old cousin has a few cards she would like me to pass along if anyone wants one, her mother or I would be happy to pass them along. I will be at WDW June 6-13 and would also be happy to hand deliver one to anyone who wants to meet me.
