What happens if I buy an AP for my daughter when she is 9 and she becomes 10 before it expires?
We are planning two trips and she will be 9 during the first and 10 during the second
Also- has anyone any advice about whether we should buy a PAP. We will probably visit the water parks 2 or 3 times and also Disney Quest once each time
We are Myself, DH and 3 DD's aged 3 7 and 9 / 10

Not sure about the AP with water parks as we have never done one, lol. I do know that when your daughter turns 10 they will upgrade her pass for no extra charge. As the CM told me Disney never penalizes kids for growing up! All you need to do is go to Guest Relations and they will ugrade it there for her.

We had this happen with our son. It goes by the age at date of purchase.

Actually, it goes by when you first use it. If you purchase an AP when the kid is 9, but use it for the first time when he/she is 10, you will have to pay the difference.

From your location it looks like you can check with the ticket agents/travel agents in the UK. I did that and found the out of country prices for WDW tickets very much cheaper then any thing we could get in the USA. Check the Canadian sites also. This was in April/May 04. I think it had to do with the currency exchange rate? Pound high, dollar low.

We went with the PAP because we got free parking, unlimited intrance into Disney Quest, and Waterparks. Did not use the waterparks, but made up for it with the Disney Quest. We were there 7 days that time. Going back for another 5-7 in 2 weeks...

If you can't fine info on the web sites. Try this:
Cost per visit, per park + ($45 plus ? )
Waterpark per visit + ($23 plus ? )
Disney Quest per visit + ($30 plus ? )
Take into acount that you get a discount at a lot of the ECPOT places for lunch and on mini golf, and in the main Disney store in DTD.
The cost of entry is ? because of the discount you might be able to get.
If you stay onsite there are also discounts for lengt of stay passes and if you do get a PAP there are hotel discounts, sometimes.

there are some good deals in the UK for 10 day tickets, but you can't get a deal on an AP you have to buy it from Disney at the same rate as everyone else.

We didn't buy the PAP because we will probably only do 1 water park day (last trip it was December and we didn't do any) and we don't do Disney Quest as the kids are too young, so it was a better deal to buy the water park ticket seperately - you need to make your own costings and see what will work best for you
