annual pass

I have a WDW trip booked and paid for. I bought the 10 day Park Hopper. However, now it seems that I will need to buy 2-3 additional days admission, so I am wondering if Disney will let me switch to an annual pass instead?
What are the additional benefits to having an annual pass? Thanks for any help!

Yes, you can upgrade your 10 day PH to an annual pass at a Guest Relations booth at any park or DTD. The benefits of an AP can be found here:

Thank you. I read the info on the link you provided. I thought the pass would be good for a year after I bought it, but I guess it would just be good for 2014. I was thinking that if I bought the pass now, I could use it in October for my already booked trip, and then I could use it again in the spring, 2015. Darn!

It is good for a year! You can use it for your spring trip.

Not sure what you're reading, but your annual pass should be good for 365 days after the first day you use it. It does not expire at the end of the calendar year...

I have been reading about annual passes for about an hour now, and somehow, somewhere I thought I read that the pass was for the calendar year. I guess I was GOOFY! Sorry! Thank you all!!
