Annual Pass??

I read through the ticket FYI but it hasn't been edited recently so I wanted to see if I understand right about AP upgrades now. We upgraded about 6 years ago so I am out of sorts when it comes to the rules now.

If I have a one day ticket to MK, go to the park on a Thursday, can I upgrade the ticket on Friday morning? Or must I do it before Thursday ends?

Another unrelated question...if I purchase 2 day base tickets to a fall trip (not the same trip as above) and we do not use them to enter the parks (b/c we will have the AP from upgrade mentioned above), can I save those 2 day tickets to upgrade next year to annual passes? How long are they good for?

I'm pretty sure it would need to be upgraded on Thursday. Yes, you can save them. They are good "forever" as long as they haven't been used. Be aware, if you are purchasing them as part of a free dining package, they will automatically be linked to your MDE account when you book. I believe you need to have the CMs change the priority of use for your tickets so they aren't accidentally used when you enter the park with your MB...does that make sense?

Ok...good to know. I don't want to miss the cut off for upgrading.

As for the 2 day tickets, if I use my magic bands given to me to use with my AP, will that not keep the other tickets from being used? This is all confusing! Ugh!

Go to guest services and make sure that the AP is listed to be used first. Only guest services can do this.

Thanks Buckeye! I knew it could be done but wasn't sure how. OP, all your bands are linked to your MDE account so are all interchangeable. There is no "AP magic band." They just sent bands to all AP holders because some had not received them for an onsite stay yet.

Thanks guys! I just read some info on Magic Bands and I think I finally get it...all these bands just link back to MDE account so they will all work the same way! Duh! So, I see now why I need to go guest services and tell them to make sure my 2 day tickets I get for the FD promo will be put secondary to the AP! Thanks so much for the info!!
