Annual Pass WDW -

This is our first time with APs. While I know I'm saving bottom line money I have to admit I've been a little disappointed because I have received THREE free dining pins since buying the AP. I am so frustrated b/c I can't use them. I know - I want my cake and eat it too. And I've done the math and I know I'm saving money with the AP and its discounts but the only time we do the dining plan is when we get a pin. It kills me to watch those treasured pins go to waste. :)

We live out of state and for us it makes perfect sense. It is a 6 hr drive and 1 tank of gas from our house to the Disney sign (taking a lunch break and 2 bathroom stops!) My husband gets 7 straight days off from work every month. I am a stay at home Mom who homeschools our son. We love to travel on his work breaks. Once we purchase the AP's, each trip is very affordable! We can not go anywhere as cheap as Disney! All of our entertainment is paid for. We mix up the trips, based on how much $$ we want/have to spend. If we stay value, we usually are hitting the parks hard. If we stay Deluxe, than we are more than likely hanging out at the resort mostly. Sometimes, fine dining is in our budget, sometimes food brought from home, lol! We switch it up! We average going on a Disney trip once every 6 weeks. Love the AP discounts for hotels. And we already have quite the collection of MB's! :)
We certainly get the Goody out of our AP's!:cool1:

If the PIN is a good deal buy the lowest day tickets you can and don't use them. Save them for next year when you need to renew your AP.
