One additional thing to keep in mind with the TIW card. Even though a large group can get the discount, it has to be a single check. If you want to split the checks up, only your check will get the discount.
This means you have to settle up for the meal on your own after the fact.
What we've always done is charge all meals to the room. Near the end of the stay, I ask the front desk for a list of room charges and we use it to come up with each family's share. Everyone can then go down to the front desk and pay their portion with their own credit card or Disney rewards card.
We didn't bother to keep track of who ate what on each check. We just split the check based on the number of people. If splitting based on what was actually ordered, you'll need to save the actual check from the restaurant. The summary the front desk gives you just lists the name of the restaurant and the total amount of the check.
Lesson learned the hard way... do this the day before checkout. If you wait until checkout morning, the charges will already have been settled to the single credit card you had on file. They were able to back this charge out for me so we could settle up individually, but it took a manager's intervention and quite a good deal of time. Several of us had rewards dollars we wanted to use, so I couldn't just ask folks to give me the cash to pay off my card.
Also, keep in mind that there's a $2K room charge limit. When you hit that, they'll charge the balance off to your credit card on file. So, if you're staying long enough or spending enough to worry about that, you need to settle up several times during the trip.
