Annual Pass Room Discount Question

I called tonight to add the dining plan to my annual passholder rated room for 11/19-11/29. After being quoted a price a few weeks ago. I call tonight to add it and they quoted a price which is $250 more than the original quote??!! After asking the CM said I cannot receive room discount with the dining plan?? Has anyone ever heard of this? Do you have any advice I cannot understand why it couldn't be applied? $250 is enough to BREAK our budget big time and mess things up

and FYI youll probably have to sit on hold so a CM that knows what theyre doing can go to guest services and do an overbook since the AP discounted rooms are probably all booked up. You are aware also your room only will have to be cancelled/refunded and your AP dining package has to be payed in full right?

Yes thanks so much for the responses!! When I called I planned on them doing a rebook WITH THE DISCOUNT!! Anyway I will trust you guys and not give myself an ulcer in my sleep LOL!! Let us pray for an intelligent CM in the morning!
