Annual pass renewal question

Does renewing your annual pass lock in that rate? For example, my passes expire on 2/25 and I see that was right around the time they increased prices last year, so if I renew now will I get the lower rate? Also I am on the monthly plan and the website says they will apply a payment within 2 days of the renewal, and I still have 1 more payment to go so I will have 2 payments go through this month? How do they then do the 12 monthly payments if I renew early, would I just not have one in January 2016? Sorry if this is really confusing I tried searching the threads and I am not sure if I trust people on the phone with these complicated questions.

Just my two cents. I cannot help you on the renewal question.

What I can say is that being AP holders for the past 6 years or so, we tend to buy our APs, use them up, then buy new ones.

For example, we purchased them for our "summer trip" in August. We use them again in November and January, and then we plan the next Then we may go for a few months without an AP, purchasing the net ones for the next November trip.

My point, don't pay for something you will not use.

However, if you are going once a month instead of our 3 or 4 times a year, then renewing your AP may be worth it.
