Annual Pass Questions

First some background.......I've been going to Disney World for the last several years, I've gone mainly alone but I've gone with one or two friends or family members. And I try to go every year but lately I've been going every other year and my stay is always two full weeks. I'm always looking for ways to save some extra money or try something new for my next trip. That next trip is November into December 2018 and I'm seriously thinking about getting an Annual Pass, the standard one without the water parks. I've looked for an Annual Pass main thread on here & couldn't find one so I'm asking on here. So here are my questions......Should I get an Annual Pass? Would I be the perfect customer for one since I stay for two weeks typically? Should I buy it before or after my reservation? And more importantly, would I save more money with it than without it next year? Any info you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated.

1. Sounds like it.
2. It doesn't matter, unless there's a price increase before you actually buy it.
Nobody knows when that will happen.
3. APs offer certain discounts on meals and merchandise, as well as room discounts at certain times of year.

I know you said you go once every 2 years, but if you can schedule another trip before the end of the pass, you'll get even more bang for your buck.

just another thing when you have an AP you can get discounts on room, That Disney so nicely sends you, then you start going oh I can get a room for X amount of dollars that is a really good deal and pretty soon you will have booked a short trip to get back down there.
