A confirmation number is a will-call reservation. It should be four letters followed by seven or eight numbers.

I have a MYW package with park hoppers and plan on getting an AP. Once I do that, will I still have a KTTW card that I can charge things to, or not? I know I will have a room key, but will it have charging capabilities?

No it won't change your charging capabilities but your AP will be a separate card. You won't be able to use your KTTW card for park entry as you'll have an annual pass.

Disney will remove your MYW ticket from your room key. It will then be bridged (if necessary--in case of a price increase), and upgraded to an AP on a separate ticket media. You will use the AP for park entry. Your KTTW card will otherwise work exactly the same--charging, dining credits (if on the dining plan), etc.
