On the member site they list the AP price as $348 pp (10+). I've seen it on another site for $370. Which is it?

$348 is before tax and $370 is including the tax.

Claire ;)

I am trying to order my AP renewal on the DVC member site, which routes you to the Disney Ticket Store but i only see the option to get a NEW pass for the $348, not the renewal for $315 that i want. Has anyone ever tried to order their renewal online?

Just ordered mine and it came to:

Subtotal: $370.62
Shipping & Handling: $3.00
Total: $373.62

Try renewing it on the AP site. That's the way that I did it in August. The site "knew" that I was DVC and there weren't any problems.

I tried that but it put the price in my "cart" as the regular AP renewal price! i knew that wasn't right! i would think it WOULD know me since my AP no. probably indicates DVC with it. Maybe i will try that again tomorrow. I have emailed MS to see what they say. Thanks!

I have renewed my DVC AP several times now. Doing just what Bobbi said. Going to the AP website. The website knows my pass is a DVC AP and gives me the renewal as a DVC renewal. The pass you're renewing, is it a DVC AP or did you buy a regular one?? You can do it over the phone, I like doing it on line because you can print the will call receipt.

Yeh it says ANNUAL PARK HOPPER DVC on the back so it should know it is DVC. I will try tomorrow to see if i have any luck. I've only renewed it at the parks in the past. Thanks!

Can we get the discounted Annual Pass at Guest Services if you show your DVC card or do you have to order it in advance?

Ok, so much for that theory. Did you register you AP when you got it? You have to go to the AP website to do that. Other then that I can't imagine why your pass is not showing up on the website as an DVC member AP.

yeh cause i signed in with the WEC # info. thats on the back and it came up wtih my name. i want to make sure i see the discounted price before i put my charge info. in and since it wasn't showing, i closed the browser! i will try today and see how it goes. i heard from MS, they said to just call, which is another option too. i like having something in writing though (that i can print). thanks!

Can you call DVC member services to renew an AP? Ours expire Dec. 1 so we will need to be renewing soon.

yes, member services did tell me to call and renew it over the phone. you do have 30 days prior to and 30 days after the expiration to get the renewal price.

You can also renew on-line on the DVC Member site. There is a link under WDW Perks

per my previous post in this thread, there is no link for a renewal of a dvc pass at the member site. per someone's suggestion, i went to the regular passholders site, signed in and was able to renew as a dvc member, even though it brought me up as a FL resident (i live in pa), lol.

So if my AP expires on 12/01/07, I actually have until the end of the year to renew? That would sure help me to have a little bit more time to come with the cash! I need to renew 2 passes.

Another Donna!

Yeh i would think that is how it would be! It all depends on the timing of your trips, too, and whether it is worth it to you to renew at expiration or wait til the next trip starts and get a NEW one. I am trying to stagger the purchase of 3 passes, so i know how you feel!

We have a trip scheduled for Feb. so we probably should go ahead and renew. We usually would get another pre-Christmas trip out of our old passes, but we have a new granddaughter being born so we are staying home. We will also be passing through WDW in May and hope to get back on track with our Christmas trip next year. Normally, we would get 2 years worth of trips out of one pass but it's just not working out that way this year.
