Annual Pass Platinum Parking Question

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to these boards and i hope you guys can help me out.
I'm from Germany and i just bought a Platinum Annual Pass Voucher. Me and my wife will fly over to Florida
and will arrive on Oct. 26th about 7pm. Included with my AP is free parking at all parks. But my pass is not activated yet (this is regularly done by guest relations in front of each park). Now my question is the following: Will i get free parking when i first arrive on Oct 27th morning with just my voucher and then can go to the guest service window to let my pass activate or do i have to plan in a late stop on Oct. 26th in Disney Springs at the guest relations location because there the parking is for free? For me this makes a big difference because I want to rope drop the next morning and having to pay over $20 for parking is a no go for me.

you can just show your voucher at the parking booth and tell them that you are going to activate it. You will not have to pay.

You also can pay, and then get refunded immediately when you activate. Just save the receipt.
