Annual Pass - merch discounts

Hey ya'll!

So i'm planning on purchasing an annual pass in May, for which I am extremely excited about! I just had a quick question. I read on the Universal Orlando home page that with an annual pass, you could get Merch discounts in certain areas. I was wondering if the Wizarding World was included in that? Thanks!

I upgraded to a preferred AP last February and I definitely recall getting a merchandise discount at Honeydukes. It had been my understanding that some merchandise was excluded from the discount. But apparently at least some of the Wizarding World's wares do qualify.

I'm sure you'll enjoy having an AP and if you are going to attend HHN, the AP discounts are awesome!

I have a preferred AP, and I don't think I've found a place within WWoHP yet that doesn't honor the discount, except for perhaps the butterbeer carts. I don't know about the outdoor merch kiosks either--haven't bought from any of them.

I know I've used the AP discount at Filch's, Honeyduke's/Zonko's, Dervish & Banges, Three Broomsticks, and Hogshead Tavern.

The only places i have found that do not give discounts is the carts, think its because they do not have the cash machines [card reader]to give it.

AAA card holders also receive the 10 % discount off of food and merch.
up to 30% hotel discounts also for the rooms.

And if you forget to show them your pass and remember later, they will be able to credit you back. I bought many Christmas Presents at Honeydukes and forgot about my pass discount. After I went to Dervish and Bangs and remembered, they were able to return and rering my purchase from Honeydukes which saved me $20 plus. Keep that pass handy.
