Annual Pass discounts at Hotels?

Quick question:

Do you get discounts on the onsite hotels with the Preferred AP or is it only with the Premium APs?

Both preferred and premium give you hotel discounts. You get the same discount with either of those passes.

I've learned with hotels to never rely on complimentary upgrades. It would be great, but definately not a sure thing.

I think I may stick with Preferred since I don't really need any of the other benefits. I'm not local so I won't use the parking or tickets to the special events. So as long as I can get the onsite hotel perk, I'm cool .
