But before you all going running to the phones, Disney's ENTIRE computer systems are down!!:eek: I was just speaking with a very nice CM who told me it is effecting everything, including DisneyLand. I just tried to go into disney.com and that is even down!!:( She doesn't expect it to be up before lunch. She said that once the system comes back online, it takes about a half hour to get the 'programs' running, then they usually test the line after that. She was nice enough to take my name and # to call me back whenever she sees things moving again. VERY nice CM!!:D
 
I just posted about the same thing. I think I know how much it would be though, usually FL discount is the same as passholders discounts, which are listed at mousesavers.com. But I would like to see availability.

They told you lunchtime? They told me an hour! :mad: :(

They told me an hour the first 3 times I called! (7, 7:30 and 8:15)...this CM gave me a bit more informaiton. :D In fact, she said they were even calling a "team meeting" (there are 4 teams in each office) so they weren't just wasting time sitting. She was talking to me from the Tampa office. Like I said, every one of their offices are down!!:rolleyes: I bet they are swamped this afternoon. A CM from earlier had told me she was getting a lot of calls for Cindy's....the people were not overly thrilled when she told them she couldn't help them!:eek:
 
LOL, I guess it's not a good day for me to get it in my head it would be great to take a weekend trip before the rates go up the 13th.
 

The CM who told me about the team meeting said that since the meetings last about an hour, I might want to try back on my own before 11:00 (when she would be back at her desk). I just tried and another CM told me that this 'virus' is not just affecting Disney....it's attacking a lot of businesses! :earseek: I know I just tried to check on the status of my tax refund, and the irs is not up either!!:bounce: Better keep our fingers crossed that we don't lose the DIS!!!;)
 
I am surprised that Disney is still affected by the worm. Most of the attack was over the weekend, and any location worth their salt <i>should</i> have already applied the patches needed for this MONTHS ago.
 
I just called again and was told that they were hoping for this afternoon :o
 
I did call Disney yesterday to see if they had released them early (I'm not the most patient person in the world!:p ). Their system was up and running then so do you think it could be ANOTHER virus?? :confused:

Don't know if this is any indication of the status, but disney.com is now up. :)
 
Booking systems are still down, though. :(

I agree Jeff, that patch was available a LONG time ago.
 
I just called CRO and the CM said the system was still down and the AP rates that came out today are only thru April.
 
Would this be affecting disneystore.com too? I can't get in there :(
 
As of 12:33, still nothing. :( The CM said they are now taking everyone's information and they will be calling people back. Wonder if they'll do it on a 'first come, first serve' basis?:confused: She even mentioned that the 'virus' had been identified but she didn't think it was the one from this past weekend. All systems were operational til this morning :eek:
 
Oh Colleen I understand. Don't feel to bad, you can order my AP when the computer system comes up. No rush really! It is so nice of you to get me an AP. You are such a good friend.:teeth:

For some odd reason, she doens't like to do all the disney planning, so I always do it for her. When she went in Oct, I spent 3 EARLY morning hours getting Cindy's for her. One of these days when the CM asks my name, I'm going to slip and give MY name! :bounce:
 
At the DVC reseravations are not being taken today. The office will re-open tomorrow.
 
I just called again...still down. I did ask the CM how they were working the call backs. It will be on a first come, first serve basis. They are organizing a 'team' to handle all the calls. When you call and you have an existing reservation, tell them you are calling for the AP discount. They will automatically apply it to your ressie when they call you!:D The CM said the biggest problem they are going to have is with Cindy's....if the system doesn't come up til tomorrow, any reservation they make for 3 months from tomorrow will show up on BOTH days!! Hey, if anyone is going to be there 3 months from today, you will probably be able to WALK into Cindy's for breakfast!
