New to this, I'm so thrilled we were able to get an ap rate. We bought the ap, was told would be mailed the voucher. What are people's experiences with checking in with just voucher?
Thanks! :earsboy:

We have never had any trouble checking in with only the voucher. In fact, about half the time, they don't ask for anything. I think the worst case senario I have read about is being asked to stop by the desk the next day and show them your activated pass.

welcome to the Dis! :wave2:

We checked in last week at AKL with a voucher and there was no problem at all. The CM seemed very used to seeing them.

Welcome to our beloved boards!
We checked in last week at AKL and were not even asked to show our voucher. I was ready to show it, but she said it wasn't necessary. :flower:

Checked in at Poly two weeks ago with only my voucher. No one asked anything about an AP. (Shouldn't have bought the APs!) kidding!

We check in at AKL for Thanksgiving and they check ours we just had the voucher the girl was real nice she said "that will do and how about i move u to a savana view unless u had your heart set on the pool view"

We have never been asked to show our AP.

I checked into the Wildnerness Lodge in February. It was about 10pm at night. I was asked for my AP. I handed over my voucher with no explanation and the CM took it without question. I did not have to go back the next day after I activated my pass at the Animal Kingdom.

We were concerned about needing the pass activated to check into the hotel. When we called to ask they said that just the voucher would be fine. Now that I think about it if you buy it direct from Disney the information probably pops up when they plug your name into their computers along with all the other stored info. I never even had to give the ages for my children this year when I bought tickets. They already knew their ages from past trips. :earsboy:
