Annual Pass and resort hopping

I have searched the boards for an answer but can't seem to find one. Can you use your annual pass before your wedding or is it valid after the wedding happens? We are just trying to come up with an accuarate budget here. Also, has anyone stayed at more than one Disney resort (or resort hopped) at all? How did you like it? We are thinking of spending the majority of our stay at POR and CBR and then spending 2 nights at The Grand Floridan following the wedding but are concerned about transporting our luggage to the different resorts. Is there someone to help with this like with the magical express at the beginning? If so, how much do they charge? THANKS!!!!!!!

Hi!

First of all, you can exchange your AP vouchers for AP's any time after you receive them. It doesn't have anything to do with the actual date of your wedding.

Second, yes, many people choose to resort-hop. You can have Bell Services transport your bags free of charge, however you may want to budget some money for tips.

We switched resorts on our honeymoon. We stayed 4 nights at POR and 5 nights at the POLY. The switch was easy and I did not mind packing everything up at all because we did not like POR.

We stayed at 4 different Disney resorts on our honeymoon and loved it! Each time we moved it felt like a whole new vacation. We had a rental car, so we just moved all our luggage ourselves, but Bell Services will move it, as DisBride2007 said. I believe they tell you to allow three hours, or something like that, so don't pack up anything you need during the day.

Thanks for all the great answers. Luckily our wedding (well- vow renewal) isn't for some time! I'm not sure if anyone else has had to wait a long time for the Disney consultants to call them back but being a busy working mom I haven't been able to talk with anyone there too much and so thank goodness for these forums and all of your wonderful disney brides out there for your help!!!!
