I know that you get the photo pass as part of an annual pass.

Are you supposed to purchase photo pass before you get there?

If I decide to get an annual pass when I arrive will I get all photos for that trip?

If I show up to buy pass there does it take much time?

Thanks!

If you purchase (or activate) a Gold, Platinum or Platinum Plus Annual Pass (or Disney Premier Passport), any pictures taken during the prior year should reappear in your PhotoPass account and be available to download for free.

You don't need to purchase anything else in order to download your photos for FREE.

On the topic of photopass, has anyone had success with sorting the pictures by date. We've gone 2-3 times a year recently and we download the pictures when we get back but it also downloads the other trips we've take. Would love to just download the most recent.

Using the PhotoPass website, your only download options are individually or all. I believe the pictures are typically in date order in the ZIP files, so the newest pictures should be in last ZIP file.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

We go through and "favorite" all the new photos which moves them into another folder. Then that Favorites folder can be downloaded without getting all the other photos. But the process is super annoying, time consuming and glitchy. But it's the only way to separate that I've found.

Then on the next trip we delete all the favorite folder contents and start again.

I just download all, then sort by date, keep the new ones and delete from my down load the old ones that I already have. It's a pain, but easier then selecting 1 at a time to down load.
