Annual Pass and FP+ questions about limits

If you have an annual pass and are staying at Disney resorts, how many times can you use the 3 FP+ per day. If I am there for a week in October and a week in December, can I make FP+ reservations for both trips at the 60 day mark or because the trips are too close together I can on ly use FP+ for one of them?
Hope this makes sense as I am confusing myself.

You can do them for both trips. However, the computer system has had some glitches for multiple trips and I would advise for now that you not add your December trip to your MDE account until after you have completed your October trip and thus not do FP+ for the Dec trip until after the Oct trip is completed. You can still do restaurant reservations for the Dec trip at 180 days out (from each day) that will go into your MDE account but if you put both room reservations in you may experince problems including restrictions on number of days you can make FP+. (And also just keep following boards to see if glitches still exist as they may not not in a few months.)

Also note that once you have used your AP for an MDE FP+ trip, it becomes a lot easier to avoid the glitches that have occurred because once the system has your AP as being used for a MDE covered trip, you no longer need to attach a trip to make FP+, in that with an AP you can do FP+ for any date that is up to 60 days away even without a resort reservation.
