Yes but for those who pay monthly - I believe the dues are automatically deducted each month from their checking/savings account - so no credit card for this.
On line - you can use your cc or debit card - but it is the one time yearly payment in full.
=Credit card, OR a debit card with a visa/mc logo on it.
Could also be said "debit card with a visa/mc logo on it OR a credit card.
If they wanted only visa/MC Credit card, they wouldn't say "logo on it"; that bit is to differentiate between an ATM card and a debit/check card that can be used without a PIN.
I use my Amex every year. I truly wish the billing were more like May as getting this right after Christmas is hard for us. But we will clear out the bill in February and be out of debt once again.
You can pay using the Amex card on the website. I paid my dues on Dec. 23 with a discover card to get the double rebate. 2% of $9500 is $190, enough to get my wonderful wife and I an Artist Point meal on our 34th anniversary.

I agree!! I looked at my dues last night!! Yep, right after Christmas. To make it even crazier, my balance for my April cruise is due in January too! I've been saving and preparing for both, but it still doesn't make it any easier. I guess I'll get at least 70 rewards points for those transaction!!

You could sign up for the monthly deductions from your checking account, then make an Amex payment to pay off the balance a few months later in the year. That gives you the flexibility to move the large expense away from Christmas a little, yet still get some credit card rewards for most of your dues.
Anyone else having trouble paying online with CC? I've been trying every day since Dec 24 and I am receiving a 'system error - please try later' message.
