Annual dues question....

Hello all.....fellow members.....(kind of feels pretty good saying that) but I have a question regarding annual dues....we bought into the club on the Magic on May 16th....I do remember asking the sales agent when we would have to start paying dues....kind of remember him saying when the deed is recorded and we officially own.....but we just received the bill and it was from the day we signed the contract.....don't know exactly what is correct....kind of feel like we were told one thing and they did another....anyone know what the real answer is.....it is really not that much of a big deal but would like to know.....Thanks all....

Hi, Tom. I think we have a play on words here. In other words, you owe dues from the day you signed the papers on the cruise, but you don't start paying (actually sending in the loot) until after you have closed.

Does that make sense???

You owe dues based on the date you signed the purchase agreement. Sorry the guide misinformed you. Maybe he meant that they wouldn't send you a bill until after you closed. That is how it works, though.
