Annual Dues Info Posted

Have BWV and AKV. BWV in 2024 was $8.7237 per point and will be $9.0570 in 2025, essentially a $.33 or a 3.8% increase. AKV was $9.045 per point in 2024 and will be $9.647 in 2025, essentially a $.60 or a 6.6% increase.

Note that the actual amount you may have to pay per point in 2025 may differ. At the time they send out the actual dues bill in late December, there can be an adjustment based on actual 2024 property taxes paid, which are estimated when the year starts and final figures are not determined until Dec. If actual property taxes for 2024 were less than estimated, that will lower somewhat the 2025 dues, and if the actual property taxes were more than estimated, that will raise somewhat the 2025 dues.

I think the 2024 tax amounts were released already - https://dvcnews.com/dvc-program-men...-for-most-walt-disney-world-based-dvc-resorts. So we’ll be paying an amount for 2024 taxes in addition to 2025 dues (for our BWV points).

VGF went up more than I expected given the tax estimates from last year. Still below $8 which is great but surprised it still went up 4.7%. Also Poly went down so much! Every resort should get a tower à la Oprah!

Having most of our points at Poly, VGF and RIV, I fared better than I thought. I was mentally prepping for a 6% average increase but it’s looking more like 2.8% overall.

I budgeted for 4%. This is what our sales agent alluded to when we told him we'd look to get GF retail while buying Riviera direct.
Between Riviera and GF, it worked out to be 3.515% and I suspect next year will be another 3.5%, maybe more.

On a side note, are the older resorts at the break-even point? Meaning the dues like OKW at $14 being on par with the point rental cost. OKW rents for $16? on average? so for someone not using points, renting will not generate any profit toward contract acquisition cost but just cover dues. (maybe even not once taxes are levied against the rent or are the dues tax deductible? or....is that only if done as a business?)

I think you might mean Vero Beach? OKW, though still high, is only $10.50 right now

VGF & PVB now have the lowest tied dues?!?
Well, technically, no. They're not tied. Poly is $0.0035 per point cheaper than VGF. So on a 100 point contract, Poly would be 35 cents cheaper than VGF. But on a per point basis, and rounding to the nearest penny, yes, they'd be the same -- $7.93.

I own at Poly and VDH (roughly 60/40 split). Net effect for me is that my total bill for 2025 goes down by about $27. I'm pretty happy with that.
