weather reported we were to have a 'light dusting' of snow yesterday that would melt off quickly-woke yesterday morning to 8 inches and it continued to snow all day and night. our property looks like a Hallmark Christmas card (except for all the ducks in the pond that had already migrated here ). we are waiting for signs of spring.
Well, I am looking forward to lower electric bills that summer brings. It routinely gets to 100 or more here in the summer. But I have solar so if I keep the ac running and the house cool during the day, my free electricity runs the ac so my electric bills plunge.
Well.... half glass full.... Yuma summer started October 1st and ended today....to understand...from this point on we hibernation around our AC when the is above... once the sun sets the temps drop comfortably and the living is easy..then those dark evenings and morning temperatures disappear and we are in our winter mode and put our lives at risk at 108 and above... just like the folks who had the freezing weather...so it's winter living from June to November.... with humidity
I heard that Cascades Oregon are at 25% and Yuma depends on Colorado snow ... Hoover was close to dead pool 18 months ago.....and houses keep being built in Yuma... which means piracy of Mexico water in relation to Colorado snow melt
