I had a little emergency this morning where I got 37 Openings of Internet Explorer, With Pop-Up Stopper Active. Seemed that I picked up some nasty adware from a sight called Sandborder or something like that. Well after some research, I found four products on CNET that seemed to be the trick. The products are Spy bot, had that one before, WinPatrol, Zone Attack, and Ad Aware 6.0. Products seem to work together to prevent attacks and unwanted Internet activity. Win Patrol will allow you to monitor and stop any applications from running on your PC. Zone Attack allows what programs can communicate with the Internet ( A must for Cable and DSL Users. Spybot searchs and deystroys any suspected Spyware products. Ad Aware seems to be able to remove all instances of the Spy Ware from your computer.

I must say since installing, My PC is running much faster and Internet Connectivity is back to it's oldself, Very vast. Products are all Shareware which means free, and they seem to work well. Go to CNET downloads and look for adware removal. Just thought I would pass this info along.

I have a computer whiz in the family. He owns his one networking company. He just fixed my computer. I had lots of spyware. I learned about a wonderful program that he has been using to fix spyware problems. It's called PestPatrol. LOVE IT!!! you can do a free scan from their website pestpartol.com. You'd be surprised how much other programs miss and worse yet some programs are actaully spyware themselves!!
