Well, you could ask them to say "the Williams-Baker family". Or just use first names "Don, Mary, Sam and Sally" .Will they say two different last names? I'm trying to figure out how they can say my son's last name (from another marriage) and my daughter's and our last name also.
I know a guy named Harry Butz...swear....he could show ID.Our last cruise we were on the ship early and went right to Guest Services for something. While we were standing there, we were listening to all the families get announced. Several of them gave names that didn't sound like they were real - they were very funny. (For the life of me, I can't remember what they were.) Anyone else do this as they board? We've always been boring and used our real last name. (Husband has said I'm not allowed to say we are the Seymour Butts family.)
When you don't *have* a family name, it's not that enjoyable. We skip out entirely now and just decline it. There's no one there who cares we're onboard anyway, so why bother?
Spotlight might be a big of a stretch - when you walk onboard you will see the few CMs who clap [Merrytime cruises have the CMs in Where's Waldo scarves] but (in my experience) no one else is paying much attention...I just don't like being in the spotlight like that.
The best answer at this point - maybe. It's really up to the CMs making the announcement. But, I believe technically, no, they would not.Do you think they would announce "The Minnie Mouse Family" or "the three Minnies"
My daughter, granddaughter and I are Disney Bounding as 3 generations of Minnie Mouse.
Me in 1920s style travel skirt with black and white dots, drop-waist black blouse and a cloche hat with a daisy.
DD has a 1950s full circle red skirt with white dots, a red knit top and red and white bow.
DGD has a pink ruffled dress with white polkadots and matching bow.

Will they say two different last names?
We were on the Fantasy last month, and they introduced us as the Skywalker family. The people in our party all had different last names so we didn't want a long introduction.
