Announcements on Board Changes & Moderator Changes

As much as Kels, Robin and Beanie gave it a shot, the Circle of Life board will be closed. It just is not generating the traffic to warrant keeping it. There always was a fine line between that board and the CB anyway. The threads will be there to read, but not post to, for a few months. Thank you so much for trying ladies!

The W.I.S.H. board will be kept and had moved to the Community Board, as a sub-board with Kelsie still at the helm.

Beanie will join the team on the Scrapbooking and Recipes Board.

We thought (correctly) that Robinrs would be happy to return to Community! Glad to accommodate you Robin, welcome back!

And in other news.....CarolAnnK is being added to the Restaurant Board. Now you have to eat at every WDW Restaurant Carol, for the good of the DIS!

I think I have covered everything and everyone. Congrats to all of you and thank you for all your contributions to the DIS!

Sad to see it go!!! A lot of mods put a lot of heart into that place.

The old IB was a blast! A trip back for those who recall........ Remember when Michelle and I were the mods and we were both going to WDW at the same time in DEC. We left Gene and Simon in charge?! Remember Reg and her underwear? Remember the bachelor party? Remember all the fun people that aren't around here much anymore? Hard to believe those events took place just about 3 years ago!!!!

And of course.....can't forget the original board mod and all of her special posts there! I don't think anyone ever tried to fill her shoes.....they just went with their own style instead as hers could never be imitated!

I had requested a change around 8 months ago now.....and the DB definitely fits me better these days. Then Bean, Kels and Robinrs made it into a new IB, a Circle of Life. They did a fantastic job and put a lot of heart and soul into it!!!

However, my heart will always miss the old IB!

I will do my duty, CC, and dine in as many WDW Restaurants as I can possibly visit! LOL!! I shall do so while valiantly struggling to stay on my Atkins Diet, hehehe!! I will be the one jogging around World Showcase each evening after dessert! ROFLOL!!

I am also very sad about this! I was on the IB from it's first day. But the fact is that no matter how much we miss it or have our memories of how it was, no one would post over there so I do understand the change.
