First off, my 15th wedding anniversary is next year and I would love to plan a trip to DW. We have never been without the kids and would love to go by ourselves. We would love to go during Food and Wine fest, but we really can't decide when to go. I would love to plan something special for our trip. Does anyone have any ideas that I could possible think about doing? :scratchin :scratchin :scratchin

Ohhh, lucky.

We used to go all the time before we had kids and it is an amazing experience. The bars are so nice. My favorite was Adventurers club but that is gone I think. Jellyrolls was DH's favorite. We both liked the Luau and to me the Polynesian is the most romantic of all the resorts followed by the POR Mansion rooms where we spent our Honeymoon

Honestly, the best part about going as a couple is that its just the 2 of you.

DH & I are going alone for F&W Fest this year. For our special treat, we are doing Party for the Senses. We also have a few other things planned, but that is the biggie.

I am ordering a Minnie Retreat gift basket from Disney Florist that has bath salts, massage oil etc... in it.

Last trip alone, we found just about everything romantic. Just strolling around World Showcase at night can be terrifically romantic when it's just the 2 of you. - Heck, even the busses gave us snuggle time.

We love Fall in WDW. I like going late Oct - early Nov before "Jersey" week. The weather is sublime & F&W Fest can't be beat, esp. for an adult getaway.

My DH and I just got back sunday night from the most fantastic 9-day Trip. It was our first time and for our 10th Annivarsary! We did not take the kids!! (next time) We absolutely LOVED CBR!! I had read some negative reviews, but I am so glad we ignored them and went to this amazingly romantic setting. Also... we were given Anniversary buttons upon arrival. We wore them every day b/c we celebrated evry day! We were really given some x-tra magic along the way... Mickey confetti at our tables, VIP seating at the Indania Jones stunt show... Tinkerbell pins and free post card... and on and on... it was sooooooooooo AWESOME!!! AND THEN... we had rented a little sea racer at CBR... (that was cool) when we got back to pay the 25 dollars... they said "no charge... Happy annivaersary!" How cool is that?! I hope you plan a wonderful time for the 2 of you... do some special things for each other... tha wil add to the magic and romance...

We're going to celebrate our 8th anniversary in WDW in December. Who do we let know that we are celebrating it? We really want to make it special. Do we mention it to the reservationist, the front desk at the resort, each restaurant? Any tips would be helpful.

Congratulations! We didn't even start going to WDW until our three sons were grown with their own families. When the boys were little we would always do DL. We love going there just the two of us. You will have a great time. There are several things to do for romance. There are carriage rides, walk along lakes, romantic dinners, massages ( I will never talk my dh into that one!) LOL. It is different with no children but I would take Disney with children too! It is al magical.

Just let the CM know it's a special occasion when you make your ressies. We went twice on our anniversery and had a blast doing all the "adult" things that were impossible with the kids. Plan a dinner at the California Grill or other top of the line eatery. Take a fireworks cruise. Walk at a slow pace around epcot and sample all the food. Go to Pleasure Island. Have fun

It is me again. Where do you get anniversary pins?

I contacted Disney and was told that Guest Relations at the MK have them. Just ask. I've also read that you can pick them up at Guest Relations in EPCOT, too. Though, as many have pointed out, if you put it on your reservations, they often give them to you when you check in. I hope this helps. :goodvibes

We plan on picking up a set if we don't get them at our front desk, and we're looking into getting shirts made.

DH and I went last November on our 21st anniversary. We did not make it a long trip and spent it at the Poly Honeymoon Suite Concierge. Now staying concierge was the most wonderful thing I have ever done. Yes it was $$ but the service was so wonderful and we were innundated with anniversary surprises! We had a flower arrangement, candy, strawberries and champagne, balloons, card from Mickey and Minnie. It was WONDERFUL. I made the ADRs at the restaurant but they called the restaurant to let them know it was our anniversary and there was a nice little celebration.

I will most likely never afford the concierge again but it was worth it! :thumbsup2
