My DH & I will be in the World for our 2nd anniversary. I'm trying to come up with something special for us to do. The problem is we both work in restaurants & don't really find quiet dinners in them romantic anymore! Any suggestions?:confused3

My DH and I are going for our 25th in September. Congratulations on your anniversary.

How about parasailing as a couple? Or one of the firework cruises?

PO Riverside has nice carriage rides in the evenings.

Or rent one of the boats and take a picnic lunch with you - then cruise around Seven Seas Lagoon and across into Bay Lake. There are some nice places to stop and just enjoy.

The California Grill is a great place to go,for the night. The food is unbelievable :thumbsup2 . Ask for the corner table looking out over the castle, the fireworks go off about 9pm and they are just :woohoo: . You couldn't ask for a better place to spend the evening:banana:

WDW for a second anniversary? Wow what do you have to look forward too in the following 50 years?? I guess more WDW. :)

I am trying to put together a trip for our 25th and got some good idea's from the board.

One of them I think we are going to do is hop in the back seat at the Drive In at the Sci-Fi Resturant. Just hope they don't have night vision camera's in there :rolleyes1

Seriously I got some good directions and links like these

Ya know sharing a hot dog can be romantic with the right person

you are staying at FW right?

then ride the bus to beach area - then you have to walk to it.

see 'wishes' one night from one of the hamocks - you have to get there early and I mean early.... those things go fast.

or one of the swings (if they still have them).

Go see La Nouba, then go for cocktails....Go horseback riding on the trails at Fort Wilderness. Take one of the behind the scenes tours like Backstage Magic that covers 3 parks. Let your DH do the Richard Petty Driving Experience, even though that is more for him than you, he will LOVE you for it...:lovestruc Go miniature golfing. Resort hop and check out all the magnificent hotel lobby's and pools. Buy mickey jewelry! Schedule a dual massage session at the Grand Floridian or Saratoga Springs. I celebrated my 20th Anniversary last year at AKL and these were some of the things we did. There are some great books about WDW that can guide you to other ideas.

My vote is for either a fireworks cruise or a hot air balloon ride. There are several companies in Orlando that do hot air ballon rides. We have gone twice and loved it.

We rented a pool home...

You could go to La Nouba, Raglan Road, we did P&P Party the crowds thinned out as it got later. Epcot EMH and the Boardwalk area at night is nice for a late night stroll....

My DH and I are celebrating our 25th by having dinner at Fulton's. Since my husband is a large man and we cannot do the parasailing and he is not a sports participant (only a watcher), I ordered a surprise basket to be delivered to our room with some Disney stuff from memoriesbybetsy. I gave her his likes and she created something special for him that will have several items in it. The total is around $100.00.

We go every year on our annivesary (in 2 1/2 weeks it will be number 7!), and last year we discovered a very simple, fun and FREE anniersary item!

Go to guest services at any theme park on your first day. Ask for a set of anniversary pins. Wear them all week, and see how many castmembers tell you Congratulatons! We also got all kinds of free stuff (like deserts with dinner), because we were wearing the pins.
