So my husband and I will be celebrating our 16th wedding ann. while we are in WDW. We have arranged for a fairy godmother to come and care for the kdis and we are going to dinner at Chef de France. Any other suggestions? Especially things we can do earlier in the day with the kids. We like the time to ourselves later in the day but feel like our anniversary is also a celebration of the start of our family as well. You know the whole it all started with a kiss idea.
TIA

hi and good luck planning your anniversary at wdw. you may want to look into the area on the boards that is involved with wedding stuff. people probably could give you some good advice about romantic stuff. it seems lots of people get married at disney. maybe a disney cast member that is involved with wedding/anniversary special events could do something special for you and your family. have a great time!

Make sure that you both get anniversary buttons from Guest Services! It's hit or miss, but you may find yourself getting a few little freebies, as well as many warm congratulations!

Do you just ask for these buttons when you check in? We will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary. We went to Disney on our honeymoon, went back on our 10th, took the kids on our 20th and now again on our 25th. I know we could go someplace alone but as you said, this was the start of our family. Besides shortly they will all be off to college and busy with their own lives. I want to cherish these last couple of years before the summer jobs and boyfriend/girlfriend thing takes over.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.
Lisa, I think you get them at the parks. In Magic Kingdom it would be at City Hall. Someone correct me if I am wrong (been known to happen many times)
Happy Anniversary Lisa!

If you mention on your reservation that you are celebrating your anniversary, they usually give you the buttons at check in. If not, you can get them at any of the parks at Guest Relations.

We are celebrating our 25th at the Coronado in September. We don't have a whole lot special planned. We are going to dinner at Fulton's at Downtown Disney as it is the first restaurant my DH ever took me to; my best friend and her DH are joining us for 7 of the 9 days we are at Disney; she has been but her DH has not, so it will be fun introducing Disney to someone new. I know our friends have something planned for us, but it is a surprise...and they aren't telling. DH and I just want to relax after the last six months we've been dealing with my dad at hopsital/nursing home.

If you and your husband are adventurous, how about parasailing or the Segway Tour?
