Anniversary Experiences

Dh and I are coming to the World in Sept for our 5th anniversary. I know Disney makes big deals out of special occasions so I just wanted to see if anyone had experiences with having an anniversary celebrated there and what Disney does to take part in making it great?

Hey! How exciting! We are going in September for our 5th wedding anniversary as well? Did you get married or honeymoon there? I don't know if they do anything special. We mentioned it when we made ressies. But we plan to make our own magic, by way of dinner, possibly parasailing, and a fireworks cruise. When in September will you be there?

We're going in June for our anniversary, I didn't mention it when calling in the resv., would it be worth calling back and asking them to note it?

We're going for our 5th Anniversary in September too! When I booked our reservation I said we were celebrating our anniversary and we would like to request the 70s building...we're staying at POP. I also booked our ADRs and they asked if we were celebrating anything and I said yes, and told them.

Wow, sounds like there's going to be a lot of us. How fun!! We will be there 9/21-29 @ POR. When we made our reservations we mentioned is and they made a note of it in the computer so I'll guess we'll all find out when we get there. I just thought that if anyone had a good experience that they would share it. Hope everyone has fun and happy anniversary!!

My Dh and I will also be in the going to the world for our 5th Anniversary. This will be our first alone trip I am so excited!! We will be at CBR sept. 6-11 I hope everyone on here has a wonderful trip!!

We will be celebrating our 13th anniversary in September! We mentioned it when we booked the trip. I had called back to change resorts to AKL and the CM asked me if we had made our ADR for Sept 4. We just happen to be dining at Chef Mickey's on that night, as that is DH's favorite. The CM laughed and said she needed to make note of that on the ADR.
