We are doing a last minute weekend trip to Disney in 2 weeks and I need your help.

What restaurant where would you go for your Anniversary Dinner? Its going to be late night at Epcot that night so we will be going there afterward and we are staying at SOG.

My DH loves seafood I'm not a big fan so as long as they have steak or chicken I'll be good.

Please help!!

I have spent my last 2 anniversaries at Yachtsman Steakhouse, which coincidentally is in the Epcot Resorts area.

Both times we have had amazing meals, great service, and even gotten a free dessert (once I got a rose too). I don't know how good their seafood is, but their steak is amazing.

For seafood, what about Flying Fish?

We did flying fish in April for my DH's birthday and it was amazing. I am willing to go back but my DH likes to try different things every time.

It would appear that you are going during free dining. If that is the case, you may have to look off site as quality TS may be difficult to get ADRs at.

We've eaten at Yachtsman Steakhouse. We were on our honeymoon and I rec'd a rose as well. Very nice place - very good food!

Are you limited to the Epcot resorts area for this meal or are you willing to go elsewhere?

Jiko is amazing - talk about atmosphere! It would be a great place for an anniversary meal!

I looked up the menu for you, here's an idea of the entrees:

Chermoula Roasted, Farm Raised Chicken

Oak-Grilled Filet Mignon

Berbere Braised Lamb Shank

Wood-Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Tamarind Braised Beef Short Ribs

Pan-Roasted and Maize-crusted Halibut

Seared Jumbo Scallops

Malay Shrimp Curry

Broiled Filet of Wild King Salmon

Grains, Peas and Veggies

So it looks like there would be some seafood for your DH. When we went I got the Filet and DH got the Pork. He thought the pork was amazing... then he took a bit of my filet. He is a steak and potatoes kind of guy and he thought the filet was the best at all of Disney! He can't wait until we get a chance to go back so he can order the filet for himself! :teeth:

Downtown Disney is easy to get back and forth from resorts and we loved Portobello's Yacht Club... again it has a nice touch of class. I had a horrendous cold when we ate there (I recall having my Robitussin at the airport coming home) but even half miserable as I was, Portobello's stands out in my mind!

HTH!

Narcoosies is great. They have seafood and good non seafood dishes.

If you are not using a dining plan- How about Todd English's bluezoo over at the Dolphin? Quick boat ride from there to Epcot, or a nice romantic stroll by Y&B or BWI.

If dining plan, then either Narcoosees at GF or Yachtsman's Steakhouse at Yacht Club are good choices.

Don't rule out Bistro de Paris at Epcot, especially if you eat late and may be able to get a table overlooking Illuminations.

Check menus for all at Allearsnet.com for further help.

California Grill has seafood and steaks and at the right time you can see the fireworks (to set the tone for the fireworks back at the room :smooth: ) We're going in December for our 10th anniversary! Another nice alternative would be Artist's Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Their signature dish is Salmon and they have steaks too. No fireworks there but you do have the geyser
