I've been going crazy trying to decide where to dine while in WDW for our anniversary. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, my husband will be celebrating his birthday during our trip. I'd appreciate any suggestions for that as well.

We will be there for our 14th Aniv. this November. Not planned but it just worked out that way.

We will be with our niece, nephew and sister-in-law (aka BABYSITTER!).

We decided to go to Epcot on the evening of our aniversary and dine at the Rose & Crown (England) with hopefully an outside table. We hope to time it just right so we can see Illuminatons from our table.

We aren't able to make the reservations until next month because they only take them 120 days in advance.

We did Rose & Crown one evening and CRT for dinner the evening we were in MK. The food was very good at both places.

That is so funny. We are thinking about going next July during the week of our anniversay and DH's birthday. ;) DM is planning to come too and has offered to watch the kids for us to go out to dinner 1 night. Ive thrown around a million ideas in the past few days(ok, Im excited) but as of now Ive narrowed it down to either Palio or Yachtmans Steakhouse. My plan is to eat fairly early then stroll over to Epcot for Illuminations. After that take a boat to the BW and spend some time at Jellyrolls. Im sure this will change a million more times over the next year though. LOL!
Good luck deciding and enjoy!

I took DW to the California Grille atop the Contemporary for her BD. We had ressies for dinner about a half hour before the FITS show. When the show started, they dimmed the lights and piped in the music. What a wonderful view! We loved it so much, we plan on doing it again the next time we visit - even if it's not a BD.

I was thinking of going to the Luau at the Polynesian since we are staying there, but I also heard the California Grill is great. I'm really torn. The luau would probably be approrpriate since we chose to go to Disney instead of Hawaii. By the way, I realize I should have posted this thread under dining, but I'm new and still trying to figure out what I'm doing.

DW and I went to WDW for our anniversary - this was our first trip to WDW after leaving California.

We loved the luau - it was lots of fun and they had a honeymoon and anniversary dance for all those couples celebrating. It was very romantic and a nice break from the kids.

That would be my vote.

:smooth:

If money is not an issue then my vote would be for V&A at GF. We had our 10 year anniversary there in 2002 and it was out of this world. The location is such a romantic one and the food is sooo good. IMHO you cannot go wrong.

Happy Anniversary.

We too will be at WDW for our anniversary (#12) in December. I was thinking about taking her to the Flying Fish, followed by a cruise on the Breathless to watch Illuminations. Whatcha all think????
