Anna & Elsa staying at MK?

Does anyone have any idea if the meet and greet with Anna and Elsa will remain in MK after the new one opens in Epcot?

I'm thinking someone reported just recently that there weren't any A/E fastpasses being issued in the MK after late May. If that's really the case, then I'd say it's a pretty good indication they are moving. Nobody has said for certain though.

I don't know, but I would be shocked if they stayed at MK once their new Norway M&G is open. I would fully expect Princess Fairytale Hall to go back to the original set-up, with Cinderella on one side and Rapunzel on the other, paired with "visiting princesses" who are usually (but not guaranteed to be) Aurora and Snow White.

I'm fairly certain the general consensus is they are moving....but it's been reported that construction looks behind so they may not move right away. All rumor though.

It think it was confirmed in some blog post that they would leave MK and Snow and Aurora would return to Princess Fairy Tale hall. I'd never be able to find it now but I belive it was in the comment section in answer to a question

Our FP+ booking window began last night. I noticed when looking at the list for MK it showed all FP+ were gone for the day for the A&E meet and greet. That seemed bizarre to me that there were no times available.

Honestly, it is not hard to meet the sisters in MK any more. The waits 2+ hours are long gone.
It's not even uncommon to find Rapunzel and Cinderella to have a longer wait than A&E at times.
Their avg wait is about 45 min, or less, now.

Though I do think a new location will increase the interest it won't return to the days of 4 hour waits

I've heard from some pretty reliable sources that the sisters will be leaving the hall and girls like aurora will be back in. Not sure as to when though. My guess is it could be once the norway stuff is open, esp if it is around late may, that's also when the new castle show should be opening and it's got the sisters in it.

Our FP window opens tomorrow for May 21-27 stay, does anyone know if there is a FP option for this still I MK or in the new Epcot location? My kids really want to meet them, do you think I should FP this?
Thanks,
Mike

MK Fantasyland CMs were told in December:
- A&E will be leaving FTH for Epcot in May
- Aurora and Snow White will return to FTH
- The plan was to open FEA ride and M&G together

It would be counterproductive to leave them in MK when the whole point of this construction was to get young families to Epcot like they did when they were there before.

They are not as hard to meet anymore. In January I actually walked up to a 15 minute wait in the evening while Cinderella & Rapunzel were 40 minutes. We also have had no problems getting it offered as a FP+ when we were trying to switch around last minute or day of.

I don't think they were supposed to be at MK in the first place, they were moved there when Norway wasn't able to handle them. whole point of the new construction was to prepare Norway to handle them.

Always an evolving process. The new accommodations, I would gather are just for that. I hear the recording is already beginning for the songs on 'Frozen 2' so it shall only grow bigger ;)

Yeah, that (no A&E fp available) NEVER happens:rolleyes1

But I do love your username.

just keep swimming....

This is so frustrating since I made ADR in anticipation of them also being at MK in July.

If they move to Epcot, then ok, but there still isn't a set date for the Norway ride right? And will they not start the M&G until 11am when World Showcase opens?

No date for the move or the ride. There is 99% chance they will be in Epcot come July so I would plan accordingly (maybe ADR in both locations?)
No one knows if Norway attractions will open early or not.
It's possible they will as they already have WS set up to allow guests in to Norway early (for breakfast at Akershus). So it wouldn't take much of a change to also open the attractions. But who knows what they'll do? They aren't saying yet, that's for sure

We're not going to Epcot so I was hoping they'd still be in MK, but it's not make or break for us. For me there's still not enough to do in Epcot for preschoolers to make it worth going during our 4 day trip. We're doing two days in MK and one each in AK and DHS.
