Anna & Elsa Standby times?

I can't say I'm surprised by this, but I wonder what the standby line looks like outside Fairytale Hall? :crazy2:

When it was 180 minutes yesterday, there was still plenty of queue line set up in the ropes just outside the hall that wasn't close to being full yet. It seems they are prepared for this and from what I saw (and experienced) yesterday, it was well organized. I think with more people being able to get FP+, the standbys may not be as crazy, but only time will tell.

We saw Jasmine yesterday with A & E, but we have seen her before in Fairytale Hall a couple months back. And I know that Belle and Tiana made visits to PFTH just last week, so really the 'visiting princess' could be anyone (except for Cinderella and Rapunzel, who are on the other side.) :)

They post the generic crown because it is a revolving door of Princesses that could show up..you might go into the room and its Jasmine, ..or it could be Aurora or Mulan.

Much like if you go to Tinkerbell's Nook, its Tink and her "fairy friend".

So instead of getting your hopes up, they leave it a mystery ;)

I worried all along that Fairytale Hall would turn into Princess roulette. Up until now it seemed like they had avoided it. I get that A/E are the real draw here. But some girls really are looking for the other princesses.

Are Jasmine and Aladdin still appearing in the other areas of the park?

I think the A&E wait times at Epcot used to top out at around 7 hours on really busy days, so 3.5 hours on a busy day is something of an improvement.

Jasmine and Aladdin are appearing together in Epcot, in the Morocco pavilion.

Hmmmm...... that's half as long. I wonder how they did that. ;)

Great improvement though. As long as you weren't one of the ones with a cancelled FP.

Jasmine still appears at;
- CRT
- Adventureland (with Aladdin)

Someone mentioned a wait of 7 hours yesterday. I know it was Easter and all, but no way! Right now it's up to 275 minutes, correct?

I have a hard time believing that anyone would wait in line 7 hours for a character greeting, even to satisfy a child. But it seems they were doing so.

It may be good news if they only have to wait 4 hours now.

As for Ricky's fastpass, I understand he clarified that it disappeared - it didn't actually change to Rapunzel, he'd previously booked her. They wouldn't accept a screenshot because those were too easily altered, or a person so inclined could take a screenshot and then change all the fastpasses. He got the impression that the CMs he spoke to were borderline accusing him of altering his. (They should change their explanation to merely that screenshots will not be accepted.)

They did call him and get him in eventually. Quite a screw up to have the system losing fastpasses to the most popular attraction in the park on its first day using FPs which also happens to be a holiday.

is the only place to see the A&E wait times on Touring Plans site? Because it doesnt show wait times on the MDE app?

I've never waiting in a line anything near this long, so pardon me if my question is amateur.

Are the kids who want to meet A&E actually waiting in these lines? How is a 4 year old waiting in a line for 3-7 hours? Or, is a parent waiting in line for the other parent and children to join up with them later? I've always assumed that wasn't allowed, but how in the world could kids wait that long in lines?

Back when Rapunzel was the most popular, the CMs would tell everyone to only have one person wait in line and for everyone to leave and come back at a certain time before the meet and greet (20 minutes maybe?) to prevent the area from being too congested. I'm assuming the same thing is probably happening with Anna and Elsa.

Even if it is not, I am sure that what is going on for the multi-hour waits is that one parent is dedicating their day to just being in the line, while the other parent runs the kids around the parks, until they get closer to the front.

And to think we wouldn't wait 3 hours for Darth Vader. WOW! That seems like a piece of cake compared to A&E. My DS was very upset, but there was no way that was happening in the heat! He settled for the 45 minute wait for Darth Maul, though, and the extra few rides on Star Tours. Oh, well. Guess we are bad parents. :lmao::lmao:

Now to find something for DD to settle for because we still won't wait that long.:laughing:

When they were over in Norway, I waited for 2 1/2 hours alone with my 2 year old DD and she did great. I brought her Nabi and some other small toys and snacks and she made friends with the other kids waiting in line and chased the little birds around the queue and it was perfectly fine. Some kids waited the whole time, and some parents took turns holding the place in line.

However, the queue in MK is a bit different than it was in Epcot. It was easier to get in and out of the line in Norway, the queue in Fairytale line has a great deal inside so you would have to weave in and out of the line and 'butt' in front of a great deal of people to get up with your party, so it's not super easy to do.

With more FP+ coming available now, your best bet is to keep trying to snag one. Yesterday with FP+ the meet and greet was literally a walk-in.

Jasmine and Aladdin meet in Adventureland and in Epcot. And Peter Pan and Wendy were just off the bridge by Adventureland yesterday.

Snow White was the tricky one to see yesterday. (And I really, really tried!) I know we can see her in Germany, but we usually saw her in PFTH. I know she moved up to Town Square but I checked all the places and asked 5 cast members and they all pointed me to a different place, and none of them had her. Finally I was told by a blueberry castmember (aka character attendant) to go to Guest Services and they could give me her schedule and more info, but I opted not to do that since we will be back next week. I think the problem was because the Easter Bunny was occupying the spot she is supposed to be in (near Town Hall.) That's where I would expect to find her next weekend. Mary Poppins was near the exit to the Town Square theater not near the Chapeau as she used to be. Yesterday was a bit of a hunt and find day for some of the front end characters. ;)

I am totally thanking those that posted about the extra FP+ time slots for Anna and Elsa! I actually had ONE but was able to get the rest of my family in at the time we wanted to go (right after lunch)! Appreciate everyone who takes the time to post such valuable information on the DIS! :grouphug:

A couple of posters here have reported Jasmine as the Visiting Princess with A&E today, but the video posted on "Inside the Magic" had Aurora as the VP. These were all reported with FP+. Just curious if they were swapping Aurora & Jasmine in and out (hence the generic crown outside), or if Mickey has Magically conjured up more than one destination for the A&E FP+ line (eg 3 actual rooms on the A&E side).

It was both Aurora & Jasmine as the "generic" Princess. Jasmine was also still in Adventureland. I'm not sure if anyone else verified this already in another response but in case they did not Snow White was appearing near the MK entrance along Mary Poppins.

Just to verify, as of yesterday morning (up until early afternoon) they only had the crown up to verify the visiting Princess would be any of the possibilities, but no one guaranteed. Personally, we saw Jasmine in the front room, but in the second room Aurora was meeting with guests. Not sure if this was the case all day long though.

This morning, instead of the crown, they had Aurora's picture out so that means Aurora was meeting in both rooms. The crown being displayed means you could see Aurora, Jasmine, Ariel (in ballgown), Snow White, Tiana, Belle, or Mulan. (And quite possibly even Merida.) I was stunned to see Tiana and Belle did meets inside the hall this past week since they have their own venues, but they did, so I wouldn't count Merida out for a possible surprise meet and greet, though Jasmine and Aurora and Snow are the most likely candidates. I mentioned above the issue with finding Snow in Town Square yesterday, but now that the Easter Bunny is gone, I'm sure she's taken his spot. At least that's my guess.

Eeek was just going to come on and post about the extra fast passes but see you already know, so so so delighted managed to get one for the 4th may at 9.25am you'd swear I had a winning lottery ticket but it'll mean so so much to my little girl:cool1:

I just came on here to do the same thing, as I randomly checked FP+ (haven't in weeks, I had given up...) to see if there were any Anna and Elsa times left. When I first tried to book them I could only ever get one for myself. But lo and behold there are a ton of them there now! I have a 4 year old DD and my heart was racing when I was able to copy a time to all of us...it's a thrill to make them happy :goodvibes
