Anna and Elsa/Wishes Cruise Conundrum

Sooooo....I dutifully stayed up late to book FP+ for our August trip at our 6 month mark and happily obtained all fastpasses we were hoping for. Fast forward to today, when the friends we are travelling with suggested we check availability for a Wishes Cruise (thinking there was no possible way since we are only 10 days out) and low and behold we were able to secure a private boat for 8 for one of our planned Magic Kingdom days!! We were all very excited, EXCEPT I had FP+ scheduled for both Anna & Elsa at & 7DMT at the precise time we will be travelling to the Contemporary, boarding the boat and cruising. After some consideration I think 7DMT is still doable (FP+ scheduled from 8-9pm and we are required to check in at the Contemporary for 9, but our 9-10 Anna and Elsa is out of the question). Of course, I have attempted to reschedule to no avail at this late stage.
So, my question is this...are the lines still staggering for Anna and Elsa at rope drop the way they were a few months ago? We have an 8:20 ressie currently at BOG for that day.....how long can we expect wait times to be for Anna and Elsa at rope drop on August 25th (level 4 crowds according to easywdw). Should we keep trying for a FP+ or is that hopeless?

1. Yup.
2. 15 minutes, on up, depending on when you get in line.
3. Yes.
4. Lots of reports of guests finally getting them as their dates get closer.
