Anna and Elsa opening at 9am starting next week?

You'll never make it. TS dining takes WAY longer than you think it will, especially at dinner.

They are there til 6 though, right? I'm just wondering how early we need to get there, before they cut the line off......if we arrive in line at 4 and haven't seen the princesses by 6, do they just say, "Sorry for your luck"? I can adjust our ressies, just not sure what time to plan on being in line in the afternoon.

We are doing HS that morning and headed to Epcot after lunch and I would like to get in San Angel, Illuminations and Anna/Elsa, if possible :)

Kenny the Pirate's site shows them meeting until 9:00 p.m. As soon as you finish dinner, head to Norway.

You really aren't going to know until you get there. Mexico is right next to Norway, if you arrive at 3:30 for your 4pm reservation in Mexico, just walk over and see where the line is at. If people are in the 7pm line at 3:30, (assuming they meet until 9pm at that time), you'll know then that you'll never make it, considering more people are going to get in line while you are eating. If they finish at 6pm, it's possible, (likely from the lines people are still waiting in), that the cut off line will close between 4:30 and 5.

This really isn't going to be one of those things you can plan for in the evening, it's going to be up to crowd levels and luck of the draw. The only way to "plan" this meet and greet is to do it first thing in the morning.

Oh, so they have the lines sectioned off by times. So if the 2 line is capacity, that is when the 3 line starts? If you make it into the line, are you guaranteed to see them? Sorry about all the questions :guilty:

It is now a continuous meet and greet. If you are physically holding a place in line for your group, you are guaranteed to meet them.

If you were to approach the line and the CM tells you the line is closed, you will not be able to enter the line. The CMs guesstimate how many guests can remain in line to see the characters before the official end of the meet. No one can enter the line if a CM states it is closed.

Live field report on President's Day! I got in line at 6:50pm, was quoted 2hr wait and that there were only 25 spaces left until they closed the line, which they did at 7. Times Guide lists last meet at 6:50pm, so I was not expecting this. Seems like this will be our best option so I am taking it, and it will be done, we love Frozen so did not want to miss it! Will report back with an update!

Times Guide today says last meet at 6:50pm, so I wasn't expecting to do this tonight. Decided to go for it, seems like this is the best wait possible, especially during a peak week, and we don't want to miss this experience! Will update later.

We saw them at 8:40, and they were great! The wait did not feel as long as it was, since DH and I took turns, and was dark and not hot, and we were so excited. So glad we were able to do this in less than 2hrs, on a holiday no less. There were only 2 families after us. The line moved fast when they were greeting.

Thank you for the report. The fact that you got in line at 6:50 and still saw them gives me up. We go on 3/8 and I'm planning to be in line by 6....really hoping we aren't turned away.

Just wanted to report back now that we're back from the trip (internet connection at the parks and resort was not the best :( ) We had a reservation at Akerhaus at 8:20, we arrived at the park at 7:35 and they let us in at 7:45, got back to Norway about 7:50/7:55 and were the third family in line to check in. While waiting in line we saw 3 families in line for A&E. Got seated about 8:10 and hubby left our meal at 8:50 to get in line. He was the last of the breakfast families and said as soon as he got in line he saw groups of people running to get in line (he was amazed at seeing grown ups hauling booty to get in line...after all this time he still doesn't always believe me! LOL). My daughter and I met him in line right at 9 and we saw A&E at 9:15...a 25 minute wait in all...amazing!! My little girl was so happy and I thank each of you for all of your advice and reports back. :worship:

We even helped a mom and daughter meet A&E by sharing our advice...they weren't going to meet A&E bc they heard how back the lines were but once we told them our plan they did the same and were so happy and thankful. We also met multiple people in line who had made breakfast reservations only to stand in line and pay the no show fee. Once we were done I checked the line out and it was all the way around the first Norway building, passed the bathroom area and kept going...it was crazy!

Again, thank you to everyone here for helping make my little girl's 5th birthday wish come true! :)
