Animal Kingdom w/1 year old

Wondering if AK is OK w/a 1 year old? We are visiting next week and have never been to this park. Would he be able to go on the safari? He adores any and all animals...

We were at WDW for my dd’s first birthday. We spent 2 days at Animal Kingdom since it is my dh’s favorite park. She went on the safari, saw the Tough To Be A Bug Show (didn’t scare her), danced through the Lion King show, ran through the Dig Site, rode the dinosaur version of Dumbo. We did the animal walks and she loved looking at the tigers and gorillas and she got special attention from all of the “animals” during the parade. She sat off with daddy and ds3 during Kali River Rapids and Dinosaur but he didn’t care to ride those anyway or we would have done the child swap.
