Animal Kingdom Safari

How rough is the safari ride at Animal Kingdom? Is it too much for an 8 month old riding in the lap of his Daddy?

No it's not. We took our little guy at 5 months--held in the front pack with mommy and then again at 13 months and he was just fine.

It's basically like riding in a BIG jeep on a sometimes bumpy road. That being said I wouldn't hesitate to bring your baby on. JMO

PS they drive very slow except for when they go over the "collapsing" bridge.

The Safari is one of the few things at Disney we have yet to do. I'm looking forward to it now that I know the whole family can ride.

Was a touch bumpy but he was laughing all the way
