Animal Kingdom or Sea World?

If you had to choose one which would it be and why?

Trying to decide which one to take the kids too. Thanks

Both!

Animal Kingdom has gorillas, tigers, elephants, etc. Sea Word has polar bears, killer whales, penguins, dolphins, etc. We love seeing all of these, so we always try to do both. There are good shows at both parks.

You'll know what things you and your kids like - everyone is different - so go with whatever suits you!

Have a lovely time whatever one you choose!

Both are great, and might I add if you have the time - Busch Gardens in Tampa - I think it trumps Animal Kingdom in so many ways! You can get a bus from Sea World (not positve of the cost - I think $10/pp)

DD and I have lived here for almost three years, and this year I added BG to our SW passes, and boy am I glad I did.... we were there twice last weekend, and if it was not almost 100 miles from home, I would be there again. It's got animals (saw many more closer up then ever at AK), and SEVEN - count them SEVEN roller coasters if you like thrill rides.

I'm sorry not to be much help but I love both AK and Sea World. My absolute favorite is Discovery Cove and enjoy just sitting and swimming all day in an paradise setting. Hmmm ... whatever you choose will be fun.

Can you tell me what Discovery cove is? Sounds perfect.

Discovery Cove is a place where you can swim with dolphins, etc. They only allow a certain number of people in the park per day, so its never overly crowded. However, it is MUCH more costly than Sea World or Animal Kingdom.

As for going to SW or AK, that's a tough one. There's different stuff at each park. Sea World does not really have any rides that kids can go on. There's a rollercoaster and a water ride that has big dips and stuff. So if you are looking for rides that children can go on, I would go to AK.

Seaworld for me. Been to both but could go to Seaworld more often. Love the dolphins. Love to feed and clap them. Love Shamu the whale and the baby. Love everything about it. All the shows. The walks beside the lake. I could go on and on. Don't get me wrong, Animal Kingdom is good too but Seaworld has the edge for me.

Wow!! Tough one, I love them both. Right now I would say for us it would be Sea World because we just went to AK. In 2003 we had an annual pass to Sea World and went 3 times in a year. We got tired of it after that and haven't been back, but now were ready to go again. It really depends on your kids. Have they been to either of them before? Are you going to any other parks? If you can, do both.

Seaworld over Animal Kingdom. Tend to visit Florida in Jan/Feb, and on a quiet day at AK you get to see everything easily as you realise there is'nt that much going on there. Seaworld has lots of shows, interaction with dolphins and rays, great rides and a huge playground for kids to let off steam, a real day out. Animal Kingdom always leaves me feeling short changed.

We take the kids to Great adevnture and we see the African safari. We are also going to Hersey park and will see them there this summer. I think we are leaning towards Sea World at this point. Give me a day or two and I will change my mind again. LOL
