Hi all! I will be visiting the world Sept 18-24 and I am wondering what is going on with Animal Kingdom's night time shows? I saw that the Tree of Life Awakenings and the Jungle Book Show are not scheduled to be running during this time and the park hours are set to close at 7:30. I am wondering if I should plan on sticking around to park close in case some shows are going to be put back on the schedule or if I should take that time to go to other parks that are open later or make an ADR for earlier on my AK day. Has anyone heard any news on this subject? TIA

Nobody knows.

(The situation concerning upcoming DAK nighttime events is one of the most-asked questions on the board.)

So far… Disney is not talking.
Just keep checking.

Last I rumor I saw said Jungle Book closes at Labor Day, not great loss apparently. No updates on Rivers Of Light. At this point we are just planning on a "typical" AK day, and leaving fairly early.

I got a Yak and Yetti park closing (as of now) ressie on our day the last week. Hoping to sit and watch a nighttime show of some sort.

That's a really good idea! I'm trying for an Ohana reservation for either my AK night or the next day, but I guess if I have to miss any shows I can live with it...I'll be back in May so maybe by then things will FINALLY be sorted out! haha :)

We enjoyed the Jungle Book show personally, but I also enjoyed AK at night. Such a unique atmosphere, and we loved riding Kali River Rapids at dark so much some of us went twice. The street atmosphere and dancing at night were fun, and we saw the Tree of Life at least once before we left with it's show.

Just curious .... are you hoping to watch a show from Yak & Yeti? or just hoping they add hours/shows that you can go watch after you eat?

Yak & Yeti has very few tables with a view and they pretty much just look at walkway which a few could see the parade when they had it, but now there really isn't anything to watch but people.

Nope, jut hoping there is something we can do after we eat.
