Animal Kingdom Meal Plan?

Does Animal Kingdom still have a meal plan? A set price for a meal, snack and drink? I was just trying to plan and wondered if this is still available for purchase. Also where do you buy it at?

When we were there last June they were still available. We always buy ours right at the Pizzafari because that's where we like to eat. I believe you can also buy them at guest services. I would assume you can buy them at all of the restaurants if you can at Pizzafari.

You can buy them at the counter service restaurants. I think they're still $11.99/5.99.

The meal plus certificates are good for:
one entre plus one beverage
one snack-popcorn or icecream (either softserve or frozen, price does not matter)
one beverage: either water or soda

Depending on what you have as an entre, you either break even on the price or save upto $3.50. You really have to look at the prices of what you wish to eat to ensure that buying the certifcates is worth it.

Note that children must eat from the children's menu if using a child's certificate. There is no child's pizza at Pizzafari.

I used these in October. You can buy them at the counter service resturants while in line. If I remember correctly, it's actually a two step process as you have to buy the ticket and then redeem the ticket in two separate transaction.

The way we figure it is if you were probably going to get a drink and a snack anyway, it's a good deal. Since my DH is addicted the the tollhouse ice cream sandwiches, the snack is pretty much a given with us.

We usually start off our Animal Kingdom day with a hearty breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus. It's about $16 for adults (I don't have any kids, so I don't know that price) and it's all you can eat. We find that 1 big meal fills us up for the rest of the day in the park. Since we bring our own water bottles, it's a pretty good deal.

It also saves you standing in line to meet characters, and we've noticed that if you get the earliest seating and finish fairly quickly, sometimes you're let into Dinoland before anyone else.
