I can't wait for Saturday!!! We are leaving at 4 AM to get to WDW!! I have been reading all of the messages for the better part of a month and I have been taking notes and making lists. We only have to pack the luggage and the car and we are on our way. Does anyone have last minute suggestions on what not to forget? Also, its in the 90's here in MD, what is the weather now in Orlando?? We are on pins and needles in anticipation. We are 2 part-time adults and 2 -10 yo boys.

We leave at 4am next Thurs for AKL. I have binoculars on my last minute list. Trying to borrow some to save money! Heard that they are a must for AKL. Also some "bug-me-not" bands. Don't know for sure if the no see-ums are a problem or not, but if they are, I'm SURE they will find my DS! Have a great trip! Save some nice weather for us!

Jjean921, gosh, I am so jealous! You are going to my favorite resort. I hope you have a magical time.

What not to forget? Your checkbook, your credit cards, your ATM card, your wallet, your ID's, your camera, your camcorder, your film & videotapes, your suitcases (my husband forgot my daughter's a year or two ago, believe it or not), your sense of adventure, your sense of fun, your sense of humor, and your sense of childlike wonder. Other than that, have a wonderful vacation!

I second the binoculars for AKL! We also use them on the safari ride at the AK.

Let's see, other things to not forget...

Some Ziplock bags. They take up no space to pack, and you wo'nt believe how handy they'll come in.

Photo ID's and/or birth certificates for everyone in your party for the airplane, if applicable.

A small tote bag to take to the parks

A lightweight sweater or jacket for everyone. Even if it's in the low 70's at night, after a day in the heat that will feel cool.

Sunblock, and a higher SPF than you normally use.

The names, addresses and phone numbers of anyone you'll want to reach in an emergency. (Or send a postcard to)

If you have a pet you'll be kennelling, are they up to date on their shots?

Bathing suits for everyone.

Band aids and moleskin.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I hadn't thought of binoculars, but we will take some. I feel like that bouncing ball, I can't wait to get there!
