We're planning on seeing 2 parks. Which 2 out of the 3 would you pick for an 18 mos old?

Well, Magic Kingdom is a definite, right? If I only had two days I would spend them both at the MK. If you're looking for a park in addition to the MK, my second choice would probably be AK, followed by Epcot, with MGM coming in last. (DD was 18 months last year when we went, and that would have been her order of preference, I think.) :sunny:

Is your 18 month old familiar with any Disney movies, or Playhouse Disney TV? MGM has a Beauty and the Beast show, as well as Playhouse Disney Live which my DD enjoyed. DD was a big Beauty and the Beast fan when whe was about that age, watched the DVD over and over and over...

I don't think it would be hard to please an 18 month old, however. Magic Kingdom is a must for the young ones. But otherwise I would choose Epcot, b/c it is our favorite park and even though DD doesn't really understand a lot yet she still enjoys it very much. She is almost 3 and the only thing she remembered from AK were the animals. So I guess if your child likes animals definitely do AK.

Well, let me do it this way .... I'll let you know what my 2 yo thought.

MGM - loved the Playhouse Disney show, Little Mermaid, Muppets, and Fantasmic (the part he was awake for)

Epcot - Loved the Nemo stuff at Living Seas, Imagination, and meeting characters

AK - Boneyard, characters, Lion King show (though a bit long for him) all hits.

We managed to squeeze MGM & Epcot into a day, leaving out some of the things Mommy & Daddy wanted to do. If you can pull that off, go for it. AK closes early, so keep that in mind.

Can't lose doing MK two days, though.

Thanks. We are FL residents and go quite often. We were just in MK this past October, so we won't be doing MK this time. He did have a blast there though. He loves the rides and the characters.
