Is this possible? We want to go to Animal Kingdom in the morning take a small break then go to Epcot to eat and see Illuminations. Is this possible or probably too rushed???

It's definitely possible. What time of year are you going? Crowd levels might hinder your ability to see all you want to see in AK before you head over to Epcot. It also depends on how much of AK you want to see. Do you want to do everything including walking trails?

We are going May 15-20 we won't be riding probably any rides but Soarin. And most likely will not be going on any trails either.

Then it's definitely possible to do AK in the am and head over to Epcot later on in the day. Do the Safari first and then figure out what shows you want to see (if any) at AK.

When you get to Epcot, you're probably going to want to head straight over to Soarin' and either get a fastpass or jump right into line since that ride is a priority for you and the wait times are probably the longest.

I'd suggest an early start to do the safari. The animals will be more active if it's during a warm time of year early in the day. Last June, we did the safari right at opening. Just to give you an idea on what the timing might be like, we went from there to Kali and rode it twice (still early so lines were short). We also did Dinosaur, Triceratop Spin, visited some gift shops, had some lunch, then Festival of the Lion King. Visited the Rainforest Cafe gift shop and were on the bus for our hotel by 2pm at the latest. So, IMO you would definitely have plenty of time to get in some down time and head over to Epcot for some late afternoon/evening touring and Illuminations.

My only concern would be the possibility of arriving at Epcot midafternoon and finding that all of Soarin's fastpasses for the day are already gone. You could still ride it, but your wait would then probably be excessive.

We loved AK so much that we stayed the entire day though we planned it to be a 1/2 day. I think it's definitely doable but it would be hard for us as that is the park we're really looking forward to going to again..... after MK of course.

We weren't nearly as excited about Epcot, so we could definitely make that one a 1/2 day.

I really enjoy the AK, and it is obvious that Disney has spent a lot of money to make it more than just a halph day park, for my family at least it still is.

We get their early for the safari, and see everything we want by1:00, then we head somewhere else.

So from my point of view you definitly can, but I think your going to miss a lot of what epcot has to offer by going only halph the day.

If you have been to epcot, then you know what you want to see and where your going, so that makes what you want to do very doable, but if you have not been to Epcot before, I really think when it's all over you'll wish you spent more time at epcot.

When we went, I really liked devoting a day to both of those parks. With AK, there is so much area to cover and a lot to see, especially if you want to do the shows. I suppose it is possible if you rush through and really limit what you want to see. Have fun on your triP!!!
