Anyone know why I don't get interest on my bank deposit but Lois does?

Good question!!! My DS received interest last month and again today and I got a box of tissues!!

Did anyone get up this morning super excited about the new fish and bugs? I felt like such a nerd. I couldn't wait to get up to work on catching them all. I've got all the new bugs except the spider and the loach fish so far. Anyone else?

We still need the spider, but the we caught lots of the loach fish. I think they're the new pond smelt.

Yeah that's the only one I've caught...I think i didn't phrase that right. Anyway, I can't seem to catch any of the new fish other than the loach. I'm obsessing over completing my museum.

We haven't even gotten on to play yet today, so we had no clue there was anything new. Thanks for the heads up!!!!

On the other hand - we did a buttload of weeding and yardwork and errands today! That's a first in a long time!!!! Now to get flowers for my real garden!

Oh yeah - Zoe wants me to put pansies in my pots!!! Who says video games don't influence kids.....

Ok, and today we got clover (are we supposed to "weed" it and hope for a 4-leaf somehow?) and we also got a dandelion. I know it turns into a puffy-dandelion (I saw that in Nancy's town), but, are we supposed to pull those out too???

I must spend at least 45 minutes watering......

Hi everyone!

I wish the seasons could switch over as easily in real life. I started playing and there are butterflies and bumble bees all over my town! Quite the contrast to the weather outside my window... Are the bumble bees the same as the bees that fall out of the trees when you shake them?

Speaking of bugs... one of my animals was walking around with a net. It looked like she had something(s) jumping out of the net. When I talked to her, she asked me to deliver a package 'cause she was itchy. Does she have fleas or something?

I played online for the first time this weekend and went over to Nancy's town! Thank-you so much for the fruit! She's got the coolest rooms - they remind me of real houses!

Complaining is just there so you can reset the catchphrase or the design they are wearing in case there is a problem with what another player has given them.

I heard of someone once who had a visitor sneak into their Able's and put in a bunch of "topless" shirt patterns. They didn't realize until their animals starting wearing them and looking like "girls gone wild".

Oh, so no one really gets a "talkin' to"... So if you don't like one of your animals, how do you get them to straighten up or move out?

Wow... someone has a lot of design time on their hands if they're making crazy patterns like that.

Lois - the dandelions and their puffy versions are worth cash. One is worth more than the other. Pick them and sell them.

It is 368,000 Bells to pay off the 2nd floor (3rd expansion) and then the basement appears (4th and final expansion) and you have to pay that off for 598,000 Bells to get the Flag - which you don't actually have to pay for, it is just there at the end. I think this is right, you have to think of it as not buying a basement but paying off a basement. Because you get it before you pay for it, just like a credit card bill. Hope that makes sense.

By the way I have spent a lot of time playing in other peoples towns that have their dates set to summer time. This is great fun and a good chance to get some of the fish and bugs you need for your museum without having to wait 6 months. So i think if you like the idea that it is a great idea to look on places like GameFaq to make some summertime friends.

Okay - before I go to bed. I got 1 new river fish and 5 bugs in the museum - 3 butterflies, 1 honeybee, and 1 ladybug. What am I missing? Also, I discovered that I have had rain on 2 consecutive days. (I travelled back to noon today, so I didn't miss buying my flowers and seeing daytime.)

Zoe will be so thrilled next time she goes into the museum. She was asleep when I started, because of Amazing Race.

I've learnt my time travelling lesson from the DS version of Animal Crossing so haven't meddled with the space-time continuium at all this time

I ended up getting 1000 bells interest when my DS signed on as me later in the afternoon!!!

One of our neighbors had the same thing and DS caught a flea! At one point yesterday he was trying to catch a bug and kept hitting the neighbor in the face and the big message came on YO THAT IS MY FACE! I was cracking up.

Nancy's town is amazing. We have not been able to visit in quite awhile and hope that we still can sometime soon. She helped us with a lot of designs and patterns!!

We would like to have some people over to our town. We found out yesterday that we got our bridge!!! It takes about two weeks until it is actually up right? Between the week to vote on location and then a week to build?

Yesterday we printed out a grid of our town that so now we are finally working toward getting a "perfect" town. I think it is going to take a lot of work and axes! We have already gone through 3 of them I think.
